Walk Kansas is a fitness initiative that promotes health and well being. Participants choose a virtual route across our beautiful state and log steps each day to reach waypoints and complete the trail.
Each day you'll log miles to start working your way along the route you choose. Along the way you'll reach waypoints, earn badges, and maybe even find a little friendly competition with another team. But most importantly you'll establish healthy habits and have fun!
Walk Kansas is based on best practices set forth by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. It recommends 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity each week, supplemented by at least two days of strength training, staying well hydrated, and fueling up on good nutrition.
